iA Clarington Investments announces the launch of Active ETF Series

iA Clarington has announced that Active ETF Series, an exchange-traded series for each of IA Clarington Core Plus Bond Fund, IA Clarington Global Bond Fund and IA Clarington Emerging Markets Bond Fund, will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange when the markets open today. The fee structure for Active ETF Series is the same as Series F, the funds' fee-based series.

Active ETF Series are available for the following iA Clarington funds:

  • IA Clarington Core Plus Bond Fund (TSX: ICPB), managed by Jeff Sujitno, seeks to provide income and the potential for long-term capital growth, while preserving capital and mitigating the effects of interest rate fluctuations. The fund invests in government bonds, investment grade bonds and high-yield bonds, as well as other income-producing securities, including asset-backed securities and senior floating rate loans. The management fee for the ETF series is 0.50%.
  • IA Clarington Global Bond Fund (TSX: IGLB), sub-advised by PineBridge Investments LLC ("PineBridge"), seeks to provide income and the potential for some capital appreciation by investing in fixed-income securities around the world. The management fee for the ETF series is 0.70%.
  • IA Clarington Emerging Markets Bond Fund (TSX: IEMB), also sub-advised by PineBridge, seeks to provide income and the potential for long-term capital appreciation by investing in emerging market debt securities. The management fee for the ETF series is 0.80%.
