Five companies withdraw proposals for Bitcoin ETFs

After submitting proposals for new exchange traded instruments focused on seeking the performance of Bitcoin, five companies withdrew their filings.

The companies that withdrew the filings were: Direxion Shares, Exchange Listed Funds Trust, ProShares, VanEck, and First Trust.

The SEC has already rejected previous filings from companies looking for listing ETFs that track the performance of Bitcoin.
